This photo was taken in Wilderness State Park which is located at the top of Michigan's mitten. There were some epic storms coming in over Lake Michigan and my intention was to capture Mackinac Bridge with storm clouds overhead. Maybe even some lightning or a rainbow!

That didn't happen.

But when I looked behind me, this is what I saw. This fantastic autumn awesomeness was right behind me - just waiting for me to take the shot.

There's a life lesson there for sure.
