A lonely sailboat with its sails down, slowly meanders across Little Traverse Bay. No wind today. The sun, hanging heavy in the late evening sky, is about to be extinguished. The clouds and smoke on the horizon will make sure of that. It's not often that Lake Michigan is this calm, but when it is, it reflects the orange/pink/violet rays of the sun everywhere. Everything is moving, yet slowly enough that there is a stillness about it that gives me peace and serenity.
