Read the Story Behind the Image

In early December, my wife and I spent a week in the Blue Ridge Mountains to celebrate our anniversary. That gave me a lot of opportunities to enjoy foggy mountain sunrises.

The morning that I took "Heavenly Blush" stands out in my memory. As I stood overlooking multiple ridges which were enveloped in the gentle embrace of morning mist, the pastel hues of the sky and mountains unfolded before me like a watercolor painting. The soft pink sky and the calm blue mountains created a dreamlike landscape that begged to be immortalized through my lens.

It's harder than you might think to capture the perfect sunrise. All the conditions need to come together just right or there won't be any color. One morning, a fog rolled in, delicately veiling the mountains. As I watched the scene unfold, I realized the importance of being present, of embracing the transient beauty that surrounds us. Life, like the mist that graced the mountains, is ever-changing, and each moment offers a unique tapestry of emotions and experiences.

My time in the Blue Ridge Mountains taught me the beauty of impermanence and the art of letting go. Just as the fog gracefully lifted to reveal the mountain peaks, life too unfolds in its own time, revealing its beauty in unexpected ways. "Heavenly Blush" serves as a reminder to cherish the present, to find beauty in the ephemeral, and to embrace the natural rhythm of life.

Frame & Sizing

FRAME DETAILS
Our beautiful frames are high in quality and craftsmanship. Choose from black, white, or cherry finish options to perfectly frame your print.

Made from genuine solid wood, our mouldings have a naturally rich finish and grain, and sometimes vary in finish slightly. We take extra care to ensure your frame is free of flaws and meets your high standards, so you will receive a beautiful hand-made product you'll be proud to present and display.

  • Framed image is mounted to a 1/4" foam board inside of the frame.
  • Mats are Polar White.
  • Comes with a protective Acrylic Plexiglass on the front and a paper backing.
  • Comes with a wire hanger and rubber bumpers.

Unframed prints usually ship within 1-2 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.

FRAMED LUSTRE PRINTS
Framed prints usually ship within 5-8 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.

METAL PRINTS
Metal prints usually ship within 2-3 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.

CANVAS WRAPS
Canvas wraps usually ship within 2-3 business days of order and standard shipping will be another 2-5 business days.
